This is a lead-generation platform built around something decidedly non-transactional — discernment. The site needed to feel calm while still guiding users toward meaningful next steps. Behind the scenes, each Jesuit province handles vocation inquiries differently, requiring custom dashboards, email workflows, and API connections. No single workflow fit all. The content challenge was equally nuanced: presenting a rich, complex history in a way that felt clear and human without overwhelming prospective candidates.
Our Approach
We began with structure.
Before refining visual design, we mapped lead flows across provinces, identified decision logic for routing inquiries, and designed a flexible backend architecture that could accommodate multiple operational models without adding friction to the user experience.
On the front end, we clarified the discernment journey. We simplified pathways, strengthened calls to action, and built a content hierarchy that allowed the Jesuit story to unfold naturally.
The visual system was intentionally restrained — dignified, confident, and aligned with the identity of the order. No excess. Just clarity.

The rebuilt BeAJesuit.org balances narrative depth with operational precision. Prospective candidates can explore the vocation clearly and take the next step without confusion. Behind the scenes, inquiries are routed intelligently based on geography and province preference — whether through custom API connections, direct notifications, or structured reporting. The result is a site that serves both sides of the equation: the men discerning a calling, and the Jesuit teams walking with them.
