Jesuit.org functions as the central digital platform for multiple provinces — including Jesuits East, Jesuits West, Jesuits Central & Southern, and Jesuits Canada — each with its own leadership structure, ministries, and publishing workflows.
The existing platform faced meaningful constraints:
• Slow load times and performance strain
• Aging plugins and infrastructure
• A large, complex archive of legacy content
• Inconsistent editorial workflows
• Limited scalability across provinces
The organization needed more than updated visuals. They needed a stable, scalable system that could:
• Support provincial autonomy
• Maintain brand cohesion
• Simplify publishing
• Preserve decades of institutional history
The platform had to reflect the structure and depth of the Jesuit order — while making daily management clearer and more sustainable.

We rebuilt the site as a WordPress Multisite network, allowing each province to manage its own presence while sharing infrastructure, governance standards, and technical resources.
The result:
• Dramatically improved performance
• Streamlined editorial workflows
• A structured memorial system honoring deceased Jesuits
• A scalable architecture ready for future growth
• Careful migration and preservation of archival content
Beyond the technical improvements, the platform now better supports vocational discernment, ministry storytelling, and collaboration across provinces.
Most importantly, it provides a steady foundation for the Jesuits’ digital presence moving forward.
Next projects.
